Ibis Instruments Romania at RONOG Meeting 11 in Bucharest
Ibis Instruments Romania participated as a Gold Sponsor at RONOG Meeting 11, held on September 29, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bucharest, Romania.
RONOG – Romanian Network Operators Group – is one of the most important meeting points for Romania’s Internet and networking community. The conference brings together network operators, IT professionals, technology companies, regulators and government representatives, providing a valuable platform for exchanging technical knowledge, discussing industry developments and strengthening cooperation within the Internet ecosystem. The organizers describe RONOG as the largest conference of its kind in Romania.
This year’s edition attracted strong industry interest, with more than 230 registered participants representing companies and organizations from Romania and numerous other countries. The diverse attendance once again confirmed RONOG’s role as an important regional networking and knowledge-sharing event.
As a Gold Sponsor, Ibis Instruments Romania had the opportunity to present its expertise and solutions to the professional networking community. At our booth, visitors were able to learn more about VIAVI Solutions technologies for network testing, monitoring and assurance, as well as discuss current challenges and requirements in modern telecommunications networks.
An important part of our participation was the presentation by Dimitrios Loukas from VIAVI Solutions, dedicated to automated and continuous monitoring and on-demand testing of optical networks. The presentation was part of the afternoon plenary session and focused on technologies and approaches that help operators gain greater visibility into their fiber infrastructure and improve network reliability and operational efficiency.
The conference program covered a broad range of topics, including network infrastructure, DDoS protection, DWDM, connectivity, AI, IP networks, peering and Internet traffic, creating many opportunities for technical discussions and exchange of experience between participants.
Participation at RONOG 11 was also a valuable opportunity for the Ibis Instruments Romania team to meet existing partners and customers, establish new contacts and exchange insights with professionals from across the telecommunications and Internet industry.
We would like to thank the InterLAN community for hosting this event, and we look forward to exchanging ideas and opportunities with customers and partners during upcoming events!
