Tier 1 provider has implemented our ITSM solution to consolidate monitoring and automate IT processes.
Provider decided to merge fixed and mobile companies according to their group global strategy. Operations and NOC within was key unit for this merge. They used to operate more than 30 EMS systems making consolidation of NOC (Network Operation Center) almost impossible. Also, any impact analysis of network alarms towards services and alarm prioritization used to be impossible. Implementation of our ITSM solution was key milestone in successful NOC consolidation process.
This project was set as strategic OSS transformation project, and included integrated implementation of Alarm Umbrella system and Trouble Ticketing system for Operational Processes automatization (Incident&Problem; Management) and integration with different OSS systems. With our solution significant alarm reduction is achieved with rate over 95%. Advanced inter-domain and cross-domain alarm correlation is implemented which automated root cause analysis of complex problems. Integration with 10 other OSS systems for both Fault Management and Trouble Ticketing.
Implementing of out ITSM solution helped provider to improve operational cost efficiency, improve quality of service (reduce MTTR and network downtime) and increase revenue through faster time to market. Automating of operational processes has reduced the amount of time the operations staff spends performing manual tasks.
