Ibis Seminar as a Platform for the Exchange of Technological Trends
The 25th Anniversary Ibis Seminar was opened by Bojan Nikolić, Sales Director of Ibis Instruments, who highlighted innovative trends in telecommunications, industry, cybersecurity, and public alert systems, as well as the technological challenges ahead, which were further explored through thematic sessions over the two days.
In his opening address, he emphasized that the Ibis Seminar has become a unique regional event and a platform for the exchange of existing and new technological trends. The main goal is to gather experts from various industries and facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices to make businesses more efficient.
„During the presentations at the seminar, which covered current topics in our industry, we particularly focused on the importance of cybersecurity in relation to critical infrastructure. This is a key challenge we face in today’s digital age. Additionally, we must not forget early warning systems and public notification, which are essential for timely communication of information, thereby protecting lives and property. Therefore, it is crucial that we work together to improve our protection system strategies.”
The seminar also addressed other topics, primarily the further development of telecommunications and advancements in technology, including the widespread use of optical networks and the integration of 5G technology across various industries, continuous progress towards 6G, and the implementation of virtual models, known as digital twins, for the automation of Zero-Touch networks. These are issues that companies will be considering in the future.
Encouraging Joint Initiatives and Project Collaboration
One of the most important aspects of the seminar was connecting with colleagues from the industry and research institutions. Various activities facilitated the exchange of ideas and initiatives, creating favorable conditions for the development of new projects.
Such events not only strengthen the community of experts but also spark new ideas and encourage collaboration among companies, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that can transform the market. The Ibis Seminar is therefore recognized as an important event in the region that fosters expertise, networking, and collaboration, laying the groundwork for future advanced projects.
Looking forward to seeing you next year in even better spirits!
