Handheld Optical Instruments OLP-55/57 and OLS-55/56, SMART Class

05_06._smart_hh_family111_no1.jpgSMART class of optical handhelds consists of latest-generation laser sources and optical power meters developed to satisfy needs of modern optical networks.

Different optical power meters and laser sources are available with various wave and dynamic ranges for work with multimode (850nm and 1300nm) and single-mode (1310nm, 1490nm, 1550nm and 1625nm), FTTx/PON, CWDM, DWDM, 40Gbps, Ethernet and GbEthernet optical networks.

Laser sources work with 2λ, 3λ or 4λ, while the light is generated via optical interface with interchangeable connectors and adaptors. Optical power meters work at different wave and dynamic ranges, using Ge and InGaAs photodiodes.

Instruments are fully automated and possess internal memory and USB interface for connection with a PC, offering a possibility of remote control. Measurements can be performed automatically on all wavelengths with a single push of a button.

All instruments are characterized by graphical interface, small size and simplicity of use. Battery or grid powered.


Handheld Optical Attenuators OLA-54/55/55M, SMART class

Thanks to a very low DGD (Differential Group Delay) and insertion loss, instruments are capable of working even with 40Gb/s systems.

OLA-55M possesses automatic control of output power level of the optical signal which can be used to set the desired level of output.

Graphical interface, USB interface for connection with a PC and remote control, battery powered, very small size. Simple to use.


Optical Loss Test Set OLT-55, SMART Class

OLT-55 contains an integrated laser source which works at 1310/1550nm, 1310/1490/1550nm or 1310/1550/1625nm, as well as a power meter for optical signals.

Thanks to built-in optical isolators, the instrument is characterized by excellent stability of the output signal.

The instrument is fully automated and possesses internal memory and USB interface for connection with a PC with a possibility of remote control. Measurements can be performed automatically at all wavelengths with a single push of a button.

OLT-55 has a graphical interface, small size and is very simple to use. Battery or grid powered.

 

 


Optical Return Loss Meter ORL-55, SMART Class

08._smartorl55_olt55_photo_02064444.jpgORL-55 is an advanced instrument intended for in-the-field use and production work and is especially useful in CATV and FTTx networks thanks to the capability of measuring high values of optical return losses which are extremely important for certification of CATV and FTTx signals.

The instrument is capable of working in three different modes:

  • optical return loss meter
  • optical power meter and loss meter
  • laser source

 

ORL-55 is fully automated and possesses internal memory and USB interface for connection with a PC.

Graphical interface, small size and simplicity of use. Battery or grid powered.

 

 


Optical Talk Set OTS-55

ots55.jpgOTS-55 works at 1550 nm with a dynamic range of over 45 dB, enabling communication at distances of 200 km.

Fully compatible with OTDR instruments MTS-8000 or MTS-6000, as well as OFI-2000.

OTS-55 is used in installation and maintenance of optical networks.

The set is simple to use, with a clear graphical interface. Can be used in headset or speaker mode. Battery of grid powered.
