 MTS-6000 is the latest and most advanced mini OTDR test platform which appeared in the market in July 2006.
The instrument is modular and supports more than 40 different exchangeable modules.
It is intended for installation and maintenance of all types of optical networks, as well as advanced measurements in CWDM and DWDM optical systems.
Supports various modules intended for:
- OTDR measuring in multimode and single-mode fibers
- IL/ORL (Insertion Loss / Optical Return Loss) measurements
- PMD (Polarisation Dispersion Mode) measurements
- CD (Chromatic Dispersion) measurements
- WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) measurements
 All modules are compatible with Multiservice Test Platform MTS-8000, while MTS-6000 also supports modules for ONMS system for optical networks monitoring, as well as the existing MTS-5000 family of OTDR modules.
Optionally, the instrument can have a power meter for optical signals, a source of visible light, optical talk set and video probes for inspection of connectors. OFS-100/200 software is available for a complete off-line analysis of optical routes and cables.
The instrument has a clear 8,4" TFT display and all interfaces needed to connect to PC and LAN, while retaining small size and weight of only 2.4 kg. Very simple to use.
